I'm interested in the reasons why images are made, the cultural contexts such as shared myths, histories, ideologies etc. I am particularly interested in how images are constructed using medium-specific tools, and the ways in which we represent different realities are themes that are explored in both my painting and digital practices. Working with postmodern techniques of appropriation to generate versions, my current painting practice explores the intimacy of simulacra and recursion through which art historical images return as something known and at the same time as something completely new and unfamiliar.

Trained as a painter, Fudge's understanding of medium specificity informs his preservation of digital integrity by keeping works in their original state. His foresight predates NFTs, making his work highly original and collectible in today's crypto market.
