Geri Cohen Mizrahi (b. 1998, Long Branch, NJ) is a New-York-based painter, muralist, and installation artist whose practice moves fluidly between two- and three-dimensional space. A graduate of Parsons School of Design (BFA, 2021), she scavenges everyday detritus—car parts, used plastics, discarded clothing—combining them with resin, spray paint, and adhesives to create works that literally lift off the wall, catching and refracting light.
Cohen Mizrahi’s tactile, up-cycled surfaces explore the tension between permanence and ephemerality, often reflecting her experiences as a new mother and her commitment to community-centered public art. Recent exhibitions include “Act 05” at Galería Azur, Miami (2024), “Figuration” at Mana Contemporary (2023), and a trio of group exhibitions at Kelly-McKenna Gallery, Spring Lake (2023–24). She remains dedicated to using large-scale murals and installations to fuse ancestral narratives with contemporary environmental concerns.
