Nick Fudge is a British painter and digital artist whose practice explores the evolving relationship between art history, technology, and image-making. Trained at Goldsmiths in London alongside the generation that became known as the Young British Artists, Fudge took an unconventional path, withdrawing his work from public view for more than two decades while developing an extensive body of digital art. His practice combines a deep engagement with Modernism—particularly Cubism and artists such as Picasso—with early digital technologies, often moving fluidly between painting and computer-generated imagery. Widely regarded as an early pioneer of digital art, Fudge has exhibited internationally and was featured in Future Paint at Kelly-McKenna Gallery in 2024. He currently lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal.
