Jenny Day is an American artist based in Cerrillos, New Mexico, whose practice spans painting and ceramic sculpture. Combining observed landscapes with imagery drawn from memory and social media, she creates fantastical scenes that explore personal experience and environmental uncertainty. Day earned her MFA in Painting from the University of Arizona and holds degrees in painting and environmental studies. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Phoenix Art Museum and Blue Star Contemporary, and she has held residencies at Anderson Ranch and Greenwich House Pottery.
