Water has always been a grounding force in my life. — Alexis Herman


Alexis Herman's refreshing approach to the classic genre of the Seascape explores the regulating and mediative qualities of water. Her paintings are characterized by simple organizing compositions and richly saturated colors capturing water's transfixing moments. Alexis has been exhibited in artist showcases including the Monmouth Art Museum and the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, CT. Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
