Into the Woods: Chaos, Magic & Healing
"Art is more than expression — it is a process of healing and self-discovery."
Kelly-McKenna Gallery is thrilled to announce its latest exhibition, Into the Woods: Chaos, Magic, and Healing, an evocative exploration of the woods as a multifaceted symbol in folklore, our subconscious, and contemporary life. Opening April 24, this immersive exhibition invites visitors to journey through the layered meanings of forests, from their haunting unpredictability to their serene ability to soothe and heal the human spirit. The exhibition features artworks by Loren Eiferman, Kelcie Mack, Mile Saula, Sabine Kühner, and Rob Ventura, whose works together create a dynamic dialogue about the woods as a space of chaos, magic, and wonder.
Throughout history, the woods have loomed large in storytelling and imagination. They are a setting where myths are born, fears are faced, and magic unfolds—a place both perilous and transformative. In Into the Woods, artists delve into this duality, presenting works that capture the enchantment of hidden pathways, the mystery of shadowy clearings, and the restorative power of nature’s embrace.
At once a metaphor for the unknown and a sanctuary for meditation, the exhibition bridges the chaotic and the magical, challenging viewers to reconsider their relationship with this eternal symbol. Featuring four international artists working across a variety of media—including painting, sculpture, photography, and installation—the exhibition promises an otherworldly yet deeply personal experience for all who attend.
